About South Cayuga Baptist Church

A Rural Church with Deep Roots

South Cayuga Baptist Church traces its heritage to the late nineteenth century, when farm families and river-town neighbours in the Dunnville area began gathering for prayer, Scripture reading, and Sunday worship. What began as a modest faith community serving households along the Grand River grew into a steady gospel witness for South Cayuga Township and the wider Haldimand County region.

Through changing seasons, the church has remained anchored in the same calling: preach Christ faithfully, disciple believers carefully, and love the community generously. Generations of members have marked baptisms, weddings, funerals, harvest thanksgivings, and ordinary Sundays within this church family.

Today we continue that heritage with gratitude. Our worship reflects both reverence for the Word of God and a warm welcome for new faces, young families, seniors, and anyone seeking a church home in Dunnville.
