Faith
We trust God’s Word and seek to live under its authority. Faith means more than agreement with doctrine; it is daily dependence on Christ, steady prayer, and obedience shaped by Scripture.
Hebrews 11:6
“To know Christ, to make Him known, and to serve our neighbours with compassion and grace.”
Our mission shapes every gathering, every ministry, and every expression of care in Dunnville and the surrounding county.
We exist first to know Christ personally and deeply. This means worshipping Him with reverence, learning His Word carefully, and growing as disciples through prayer, fellowship, and obedience.
We also exist to make Him known. That calling reaches from the pulpit to the fellowship hall, from children’s classes to quiet acts of service in the community. Our mission is evangelistic, pastoral, and practical at the same time.
Finally, we serve our neighbours with compassion and grace because the gospel is not only proclaimed in words, but also displayed through hospitality, mercy, and faithful presence.
Our vision is “To be a growing, vibrant Baptist community in Dunnville and the greater Haldimand County — a church where every person finds belonging, purpose, and hope in Jesus Christ.”
We want to be a congregation where longtime residents and first-time visitors alike encounter a genuine welcome, clear teaching from Scripture, and opportunities to grow in both faith and service.
That vision leads us to invest in children and youth, strengthen families, care well for seniors, and remain visibly engaged in the needs of our surrounding community.
These values shape the tone of our worship, the priorities of our leadership, and the way we serve both one another and our neighbours.
We trust God’s Word and seek to live under its authority. Faith means more than agreement with doctrine; it is daily dependence on Christ, steady prayer, and obedience shaped by Scripture.
Hebrews 11:6
We believe the church is a family, not simply a gathering. We cultivate fellowship across generations so that people experience belonging, encouragement, accountability, and shared joy.
Acts 2:42-47
We want the kindness of Christ to be tangible. Compassion moves us toward the hurting, the lonely, and the overlooked with patience, practical help, and sincere love.
Colossians 3:12
We aim for consistency between what we say and how we live. Integrity means truthfulness, humility, wise stewardship, and leadership that is accountable before God and the congregation.
Proverbs 10:9
Every believer is called to serve. We encourage members to use their time, gifts, and abilities to strengthen the church and bless the wider Dunnville community in Christ’s name.
Galatians 5:13
Our confidence rests in the risen Christ. Hope steadies us in hardship, keeps our witness gracious, and reminds us that God is still drawing people to Himself.
Romans 15:13
